Te quiero aunque no debería quererte

Te extraño aun cuando a veces te veo

Te pienso a cada minuto

Y te sueño todas las noches.

Mis palabras dicen que te he olvidado

Mi mente me dice que es lo correcto

Mi realidad me hiere el alma

Porque mi corazón aun te quiere como ayer.

Mi corazón quiere alcanzarte

Quiere poder llegar a ti

Pero el corazón no sabe

Que imposible es mi amor por ti.

Adiós me dijiste para siempre

Esa noche triste en Julio

Y yo con el corazón destrozado

Me di la vuelta con la frente en alto.

Solo Dios que escucha

Cada noche mi sentir

Sabe que de mi parte he puesto

Para sacarte completamente de mí.

Estos versos no son para recordar

Que tu amor no es para mí

Simplemente es para expresarte

Todo lo que aun significas para mí. 

Te quise con el alma

Y te quise de verdad

Y cada día pienso

En que algún día te he de olvidar.

Gracias por los ayeres que me diste

Por los momentos de felicidad

Y aunque nunca leas mis versos

Los ojos más bellos conocí

Los brazos más fuertes abrace

La mirada más hermosa disfrute

Y los labios más dulces nunca bese.

Por la felicidad que contigo viví

No me arrepiento de haberte amado

It is hard to describe these feelings
Feelings I have for you
But they are real like the sun
because my love for you will never die. 

You are gone forever

And I know you will never come back

But it is my hope that one day

You will knock my door again.

It has been a long time now

But I still remember you

I miss your happy face

And all the memories you and I made.

There’s no day in my life

That I don’t think about you

There’s no moment in my heart

That I don’t wish you could come back

Fear overwhelms me

When I think of you with someone else

Although you aren’t mine

I can’t see you with anyone else.

Loving you is my secret

And my biggest curse in life

You are the only person

who truly has my whole heart.

You don’t deserve my love

That is one true fact

But my heart can’t reason

Like my mind does.

You will never know

And you will never understand

That the way I loved you

Overpassed everything in life.

I love you with your imperfections

I love you with your ugliest looks

I love you with the purest love

But that is something you will never know.

My little poem for you!

The other day I was watching a video by Refinery29 in Facebook. This girl was teaching a little bit about poetry and she was giving some advice on how to write poetry. I love poetry. I consider myself a poet, perhaps I will never be one of those famous poets. Perhaps I will never reach that level but, I love writing poems. During her video, she invited everyone to write a little poem,  she said to just write whatever came to our minds. I did it and this is what I wrote: 

I love you

If you were in a horrible car accident and burned all your body including your face, I would still love you. If you committed the biggest mistake, my love for you would never change because my love for you is infinite and eternal and no matter what you do, my love for you is endless. I loved you, I love you and I will love you forever. I will be there by your side in the good and the bad. I will be your support and I am your most faithful admirer and lover. I love you not because you are perfect but because I see the great potential you have within you. I love you and I hope you always know that. I love you  with every component that I have in my heart and I love you with all that I have in me.

A beautiful night in June!

It was a beautiful night

a magical night in June

I was wearing a pink skirt

And you were being your awesome you.

I saw you from far away

And my heart told me: don’t let him go

I got close to you and said hi

And you looked at me with those beautiful eyes.

I gave you a big hug

I was happy to see your smile

It was the first time I saw you

After a very long time.

I went away to say hi to others

Thinking you weren’t gonna say much

But then you got close to me

And asked me if I wanted to dance

I said yes with a smile on my face

No way! I am dancing with him, I thought

Then you told me I was beautiful

And I wanted to kiss your smile.

We laughed and danced for a long time

It was a beautiful night

And I was praying in my heart

That you could forever hold me in your arms.

It was great seeing you

Nobody made me feel the way you did

It was a magical moment

That I wish I could repeat.

Now you’re gone forever

And you will never come back to me

Many things had happened

That showed me you are not for me.   

I just want to tell you

That you are the love of my life

That I would give my own life

To see again your beautiful smile.

Everything has happened

And our love will never be

Although I would give anything

To see you right next to me.

If you ever remember me

Hope you remember that beautiful night

And these dark brown eyes

Who admired you like I never thought.

Good-bye my impossible love

I never thought that I could say this aloud

But it is time to let it out

I love you my love

I love you with all that I have in me.

I haven’t seen you in a long time now

Perhaps you don’t remember my name anymore

But I still remember your lips

Like if it was yesterday that you kissed me

Many poems I have written you

And it’s not doing me any good

But it is the only way I can express

All that I feel for you.

Your love I welcomed

When you came to my life

Now I’m telling my heart

That it’s time to say good-bye.

Many nights I have decided

That I will finally forget your name

And it’s in that same night

 That you appeared in all of my dreams.

Loving you is my sin

Loving you is my curse

Loving you makes my heart full

And empty at the same time.

I love you my love

And I will love you for a little more

I love you with the hope

That one day I will finally get over you.

If you ever think of my name

Hope it takes you to that night

That you kissed my lips

and I gave you my whole heart.
